An oak broom is an essential attribute of a real bathhouse. Thanks to its wide and dense leaves, it perfectly "pumps" steam, allowing the master to easily control the heat. Unlike birch, oak practically does not absorb sweat, remaining light and effective throughout the session.
How to properly steam a broom?
To make your broom last a long time and give all the benefits of the wood, follow our recommendation:
Rinsing: Rinse the broom with cold water to remove dust.
Soaking: Place the broom in cold water for 15-20 minutes. This will "revive" the leaves.
Final stage: Place the broom in hot water (not boiling water! Optimally - 70-80°C) for 5-10 minutes.
By holding the broom over the heated stones for a few seconds, your steam room will be filled with a luxurious aroma.
Important! For perfect steaming, use a special steamer . Our steamers made of thermowood and an insert perfectly maintain the temperature and do not leak, which allows the broom to reveal its aroma at 100%.
